In the first three chapters of the Book of Ephesians, Paul shared a great truth: the believers’ spiritual blessings and authority in Christ. In Chapter 1:3, the Holy Spirit revealed through Paul, “All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ.” However, not all of us know this, or understand how blessed we are already spiritually. So, at the end of Chapter one and Chapter three, Paul prayed the following powerful Spirit-led prayers. You can use the same prayers to ask for what Paul had prayed. Ask the Lord to give you spiritual wisdom and insight, and spiritual growth.
Your spiritual walk with the Lord Jesus will not be the same after this. One great faith man of God prayed these prayers for himself more than a thousand times and had his spiritual breakthrough. After an old grandma went to be with the Lord, her family discovered that in her old age she developed the habit of copying these verses many times in her diary. They then realized that this was her driving force in her persistent intercessions for others.
Ephesians 1:16-20 (New King James Version)
16 do not cease to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers: 17 that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, 18 the eyes of your understanding[a] being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, 19 and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power 20 which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places,

Paul’s Prayer for Spiritual Growth
14 When I think of all this, I fall to my knees and pray to the Father,[a] 15 the Creator of everything in heaven and on earth.[b] 16 I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will empower you with inner strength through his Spirit. 17 Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong. 18 And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is. 19 May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God.
