(Revised with verses) CONTENDING EARNESTLY FOR THE FAITH IS HERE!

by faith in HimExcerpts from the above:

“Why is it important to contend earnestly for the faith which was once delivered to the saints? Because we are living in the last days, and only with the faith of the Son of God can we overcome the enemy and live to fulfill the perfect will of God. The heroes of faith in Hebrew 11 all lived a life of faith and died believing God. ”

“That is why the writer of Hebrew exhorts us to “run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith” (Hebrew 12:1-2). Jesus died not only to save us but also to make us to be sons of God and bring us to glory (Heb 2:10). “

Peter 1:3-5 The Hope of Eternal Life

3 All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is by his great mercy that we have been born again, because God raised Jesus Christ from the dead. Now we live with great expectation, 4 and we have a priceless inheritance—an inheritance that is kept in heaven for you, pure and undefiled, beyond the reach of change and decay. 5 And through your faith, God is protecting you by his power until you receive this salvation, which is ready to be revealed on the last day for all to see.

1 Peter 1:7 These trials will show that your faith is genuine. It is being tested as fire tests and purifies gold—though your faith is far more precious than mere gold. 1 Peter 1:21-23 Through Christ you have come to trust in God. Your new life will last forever because it comes from the eternal, living word of God.
