Watchman’s Adventure: visions of watch faces and armor

The watchman was shown two separate sets of clear visions two nights ago, both around 2:45-3am.

On that morning he was woken after about two hours of sleep and was wide awake at midnight. So he told the Lord to let him sleep on as he had to complete a class at 5am and thereafter drive outstation to fetch someone. He was really tired. But he was not allowed to sleep so he got up and the need to pray for the church members’ children came to him. So he asked the Lord how to pray as the younger generation’s education is now a remote topic to him. Then he was led to read Proverbs 8, which answered all his questions and gave him the exact leading to pray. After that he wanted to sleep but he was wide awake. As he lied there on the floor, he saw two sets of visions.

  1. A set of watch faces in quick snapshots all of the same khaki yellow leather model, but with different time, one at a time.

  2. Repeat of the same metal part of an armor, roundish bulging with some carvings, a number of times until he got the message, “the armor of God”.

He received the message that God has a set of times which continues to operate according to His plan. Man’s role is to hear God and align with His plan for each time. That is what Jesus meant when He reprimanded the religious leaders then who could see and interpret weather (natural) time and signs but could not see or interpret the spiritual time and signs which are far more important and crucial.

Today the same problem occurs. The majority prefers physical signs and time set by human or human-mind created science and technology. The narrow path -the spiritual signs and understanding of those signs are neglected or simply ignored.

But the answer for the continuing existence of the human race is out there in the spiritual supernatural realm. God reminds us that He is the One who set the law of the nature. He is also the One who has established the law of the Spirit.

When the watchman finally received the message of the armor of God, he knew he should intercede as someone could be in danger. So he prayed for the full armor of God for each family of the tiny house church he now attends. However, he was then urged to include the covering for one family who attend another big church but come for his 5 am class. He obeyed and then asked the Lord to at least let him sleep a bit as it was only an hour away from rising for the day’s 5am Bible reading class. Indeed he rested well after that.

When that brethren finally turned up for the class, he informed that he was doing battle around 3am-4am as his infant daughter had an attack in breathing. He also told the class that prior to sleep he was alerted in his spirit to proclaim Psalm 91 covering for his family but he was too tired so he decided to skip!

So it confirmed what the Lord had told the watchman. It was really merciful on the part of the Lord who even gave visions just to make sure the watchman understood the message. Visions bypassed the mind and the body limitations. The message got through.

The watchman’s experience is that often after midnights things happened and needed intercessions. Words and visions came in a clearer form and spiritual understanding was more accurate and on time for the right purposes.

The 5 am reading also confirmed this understanding. The reading today is Luke 12. Jesus told the disciples to be faithful servants and not evil servants. He spoke twice on this urgent and important subject on that occasion! (Luke 12:35-48)

Then Jesus spoke about “discerning the time” in 12:54-56.

As the 5 am crowd is determined to be equipped as disciples of the Lord Jesus, following the Holy Spirit, this topic and the visions are extremely important. Indeed, just as a senior teaching pastor remarked, for Christians who cannot hear God, they are like men walking in pitch darkness at night in an unknown territory. Jesus Himself has warned those who teach the word of God but who themselves are blinded to the Holy Spirit, they are blind guides leading the blind.

For the watchman not hearing the Lord and discerning the time and sign will be unthinkable, like sailing across uncharted raging waters without a navigator, compass and light. In the spiritual realm the only trustworthy Navigator is the Lord Holy Spirit and the Word of God together.

(Note: The watch face vision he saw are of yellow evening hue, so it means end times now. God’s watches are running concurrently all pointing to different time. frightening, because they run regardless what we do on earth. Better focus on the one thing he is given the best most proficient gift and be faithful doing that one thing.)
