Update on 5-5-2013: When this post was first posted, the watchman perceived in spirit that there would be significant shift and changes in the heavenly realm – a change in spiritual ‘strongman’. That was about two weeks ago. During the last ten days, prior to the date of physical change on earth, a Daniel fast was urged for the watchman and he obeyed. During the fast, the sound of low rumblings like thunder without lightning came in the early afternoon daily for a number of consecutive days. On the second last day prior the local change, the dark cloud came and enveloped the sky over the region where immense change would take place. By the time it was clear, he knew in the heavenly shift of power had completed. The next day was quiet, like a calm before the actual storm. However there would not be a physical storm. A fine and cool day came. The physical change of power took place in an impossible local environment. With man it was impossible to have that particular change. With God, all things are possible. That was why Jesus commanded the disciples to wait for the Pentecost day to receive the power from above before they could go anywhere to execute His Great Commission. They obeyed.

The message: Acts 2

New King James Version (NKJV)

Coming of the Holy Spirit

When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

16 But this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel:

17 ‘And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God,
That I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh;
Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy,
Your young men shall see visions,
Your old men shall dream dreams.
18 And on My menservants and on My maidservants
I will pour out My Spirit in those days;
And they shall prophesy.
19 I will show wonders in heaven above
And signs in the earth beneath:
Blood and fire and vapor of smoke.
20 The sun shall be turned into darkness,
And the moon into blood,
Before the coming of the great and awesome day of the Lord.
21 And it shall come to pass
That whoever calls on the name of the Lord
Shall be saved.’

38 Then Peter said to them, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. 39 For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who are afar off, as many as the Lord our God will call.”
