Then the Lord said to Moses, “Why are you crying out to me? Tell the people to get moving! 16 Pick up your staff and raise your hand over the sea. Divide the water so the Israelites can walk through the middle of the sea on dry ground.
In Exodus 14:14-16; 19-20; 15:1-2; 6-7, God gave Moses a sure win weapon. All Moses had to do was to tell the people to go forward. Nothing would happen if they stood still. By faith, they went forward and of course they won the battle against the adverse forces: the enemy, the sea and their own fear and doubt.
“The LORD will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace.”
