The supernatural sign he saw: two light rays of pure gold color streaming down from his white plastered ceiling (perpendicular lines). He could not see the top parts. The golden light rays were sparkling (flashing) and ‘dancing’ or ‘racing’ at quite a speed. When they hit the dark marble top of the kitchen counter, they deflected. There was no rational or natural explanation. He video captured the phenomenon in a mobile phone camera. The golden rainfall went on for about 15 minutes at least…
The watchman prayed for revelation of the signs of this time as his spirit has prompted of great changes ahead. For three days he has received messages of words (like puzzle pieces) which pointed to Bible verses, words with Bible chapter clearly, and even a sign followed by Bible verses.
So it had been a fruitful time for the watchman’s own learning to hear the Holy Spirit. Here is a brief summary of the three instances.
On an evening he asked the Lord for words. He wanted to practice hearing correctly in his spirit. So he started receiving words. He quickly jotted down the six words in sequence of his perception: floating, house (?), scrolling, sea, flower, violet (?). Then he spent considerable time looking up the possible meaning. He thought they came in pairs, so he looked up floating house, scrolling sea, and violet flower.
“Father, for my (and my loved ones’) personal walk with You today I ask for spiritual discernment and understanding. I ask for your Spirit to strengthen our inner man, lead us not into temptation and deliver us from evil….”
ON this day 12/9/15: This is my fervent prayer for all of us in the nation where I am at, during the fourth watch hours. There are two parts of the prayer. I urge you to please read and pray both for your church and your loved ones. Pray just as Jesus has commanded His closest disciples (Peter, John and James) to do so at the Garden of Gethsemane. (Mark 14:38)
Dear God, our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name, Your Kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven: I pray this prayer for all your churches on earth just as the early church (disciples of Jesus) have prayed.
Prophetic Prayer for Boldness for the corporate church (as in the early church in Acts 4:23-31)
“Lord, You are God, who made heaven and earth and the sea, and all that is in them, 25 who by the mouth of Your servant David[a] have said: ‘Why did the nations rage, And the people plot vain things? 26 The kings of the earth took their stand, And the rulers were gathered together Against the Lord and against His Christ.’
27 “For truly against Your holy Servant Jesus, whom You anointed, both Herod and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles and the people of Israel, were gathered together 28 to do whatever Your hand and Your purpose determined before to be done. 29 Now, Lord, look on their threats, and grant to Your servants that with all boldness they may speak Your word, 30 by stretching out Your hand to heal, and that signs and wonders may be done through the name of Your holy Servant Jesus.”
I pray this in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus. Thank you Father for hearing and answering our prayer. Amen.
My daily personal prayer for self and loved ones. Also for all other Christians. (For the period December 2015 to __________ as led by the Spirit of Jesus Christ).
Father, for my (and my loved ones’) personal walk with You today I ask for spiritual discernment and understanding. I ask for your Spirit to strengthen our inner man, lead us not into temptation and deliver us from evil.
At this year-end festive season of blissful oblivion, with undercurrents of wickedness and cruelty, with dark schemes being concocted, brewed, and ready to be served up to the innocent by Your enemies, in the world where the devil rules and has dominion over mankind, I pray, O Lord, for the wake-up call loud and clear ringing non-stop in our ears so as Your people see the signs of time we know and submit to Your warning and avoid the traps and snares set up by Your enemies. Give us a humble heart, obedience like never before, submitting to You and Your Truth, like Your Son Jesus, the Son of God did in the darkest hour of mankind’s history, walking on earth two thousand years ago.
I admit and repent for myself and my loved ones for hanging on to the pride that often comes before a fall. The pride of presumption that Christians are exempted from the harm that the world causes to one another. The pride of unbelief in the spiritual reality of the things that are happening in the world. The pride of unbelief of Your words. The pride of thinking that we know the Bible so well and all prophetic warnings are outdated, mere cliche and no longer apply in the practical modern civilized and educated world. The pride of believing in the lies that whatever we do in the flesh (loving the world: the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life) does not matter at all as we can all safely go to heaven by grace. The pride of quenching the Holy Spirit by insisting on our way and not the way led by the Holy Spirit…The pride of lifting self above You, just as our ancestor, Adam did. I bow down before You, O Lord, repent for all these, for myself, my loved ones and all my brothers and sisters in Christ.
I ask now Lord, my God, my Father in heaven, for the Spirit of wisdom and revelation to pour on us, so that we truly know You. The eyes of our heart be enlightened so that we know the glorious hope of our calling, know the greatness of the power You have toward us who believe. The same power that raised Christ from the dead and seated Him at Your right hand in the heavenly realms, far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come.
I pray that You grant us, according to the riches of Your glory, to be strengthened with might through Your Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in our hearts through faith; that we, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height— to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that we may be filled with all the fullness of God.
Now to You who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to You be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
(Ephesians 1:15-23; 3:14-21)
Zechariah 4:6 New King James Version (NKJV)
6 So he answered and said to me:
“This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ Says the Lord of hosts.
With the increasing signs of the time, more and more Christians (old and young) are seeking to find and know God’s will and resources for them. Today you will find and know for yourself. What has Jesus said about you? What is the assignment or goal for you on earth? What is God’s will for your life? What has Jesus already given you in terms of resources and authority? I am sharing the following based on my personal understanding and experience with young (not according to chronological age) Christians. Older (more mature in our belief) Christians may want to use this as a revision of our first love for Christ (when we first accepted Jesus and were on fire for Him and sharing His Good News).
Let us read dome Bible verses to get the answers. Yes, all are related to the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Christ!
The purpose and mission of a believer: You can find in a summary in Mark 16:15-18, 20. Also read Matthew 28:16-20) The overall goal is to witness Jesus Christ in your life (in word and in deed).
God’s will: His will is to give you and all who believe in Jesus eternal life. John 3:16; 17:2-3; Acts 13:48; Romans 2:7, 5:21, 6:23; 1 Timothy 6:12, Titus19; 3:7
Jesus has already given you these resources for a victorious life: the Holy Spirit:Salvation, Born again in Him, remember and understand the word of God, guidance into all truth, know the future concerning you, spiritual wisdom, power and might of God, spiritual weapons and the whole armor of God. John 1:33, 3:5-6, 14:17, 26, 15:26, 16:13, 20:22 ；Acts 1:8；2:1-4； 1 Corinthians 2:4-6, 10-12, 6:17,19；Romans 8:1-27, 15:19； 2 Corinthians 10:3-5, 12:12, 13:3； Ephesians 1:3,17,19;3:16;5:18-19;6:10,17-18; Philippians 1:19; 1 Thessalonians 1:5, 4:18, 5:19; 2 Thessalonians 2:13； 1 Timothy 1:7； 2 Timothy 1:14； Titus 3:5； Hebrews 10:29； 1 Peter 1:2,12,4:14; 2 Peter 1:21; 1 John 3:24, 4:13; Jude 1:20； Revelation 2:7, 11, 17, 29, 3:6,13,22
Authority： Jesus has also given His believer His name. John 14:13,14; 15:16; 16:24, 26a. Mark 16:16-20 Believer should pray in the name of Jesus. The name of Jesus has the power and authority given by God to Jesus. The name of Jesus invokes the presence of Jesus (in the Holy Spirit).
THE POWER AND AUTHORITY OF THE NAME OF JESUS (THE NAME OF GOD) (Boldness added by me on the Bible verses)
Mark 16:16-18, 20 New King James Version (NKJV)
16 He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.17 And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues;18 they[a] will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”
20 And they went out and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them and confirming the word through the accompanying signs. Amen.
Mark 16:18NU-Text reads and in their hands they will.
To understand God’s purpose in opening our eyes to see His signs around us in this time, we read 2 Thessalonians 1 today. The Christians in the Thessalonica were godly and mature. They were former idolaters. Their transformed lives after believing in the gospel of Jesus Christ demonstrated the power of the gospel. Despite their pagan past (influenced by ancient Greek and Roman religions, philosophies, and traditions), they have become model Christians.
2 Thessalonians 1 New King James Version (NKJV)
Greeting 1 Paul, Silvanus, and Timothy, To the church of the Thessalonians in God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ: 2 Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
God’s Final Judgment and Glory
3 We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is fitting, because your faith grows exceedingly, and the love of every one of you all abounds toward each other, 4 so that we ourselves boast of you among the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that you endure, 5 which is manifest evidence of the righteous judgment of God, that you may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which you also suffer; 6 since it is a righteous thing with God to repay with tribulation those who trouble you, 7 and to give you who are troubled rest with us when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with His mighty angels, 8 in flaming fire taking vengeance on those who do not know God, and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9 These shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power, 10 when He comes, in that Day, to be glorified in His saints and to be admired among all those who believe,[a] because our testimony among you was believed.
11 Therefore we also pray always for you that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfill all the good pleasure of His goodness and the work of faith with power, 12 that the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and you in Him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.
…In the seventh month, on the first of the month, there shall be a sabbath for you, a remembrance with shofar blasts, a holy convocation. -Leviticus 16:24
Rosh Hashanah occurs on the first and second days of Tishri. In Hebrew, Rosh Hashanah means, literally, “head of the year” or “first of the year.” Rosh Hashanah is commonly known as the Jewish New Year.
The name “Rosh Hashanah” is not used in the Bible to discuss this holiday. The Bible refers to the holiday as Yom Ha-Zikkaron (the day of remembrance) or Yom Teruah (the day of the sounding of the shofar). The holiday is instituted in Leviticus 23:24-25.
The shofar is a ram’s horn which is blown somewhat like a trumpet. No work is permitted on Rosh Hashanah. Much of the day is spent in synagogue. Another popular observance during this holiday is eating apples dipped in honey, a symbol of our wish for a sweet new year. Religious services for the holiday focus on the concept of G-d’s sovereignty.
“The Jewish new year is not just a time to renew our resolve to lose another fifteen pounds. Rather, it’s the time when our fate stands in the balance as G‑d reviews our past year and decides whether or not to renew our lease on His planet. As such, Jewish greetings for this time of year (the Jewish New Year is in the fall) reflect our prayers for a good, sweet year up ahead.
The catch-all greeting you can use for the entire season is “Shanah tovah” (שנה טובה), which means “Good year.” The word “u’metuka” (ומתוקה), and sweet, is sometimes appended to the end.
Here are some other greetings that you may hear:
Before Rosh Hashanah, people wish each other “Ketivah v’chatima tovah”(כתיבה וחתימה טובה) “A good inscription and sealing [in the Book of Life].” On Rosh Hashanah eve, as we return from synagogue service, it is traditional to greet one another with “Leshana tovah tikatev v’tichatem” (לשנה טובה תכתב ותחתם). When greeting a female, this is modified to“Leshana tovah tikatevee v’tichatemee” (לשנה טובה תכתבי ותחתמי). This means, “May you be written and sealed for a good year.”
From noon on Rosh Hashanah, when our fates are already written, until Yom Kippur, when our fates for the coming year are to be sealed, we wish each other “Gemar chatima tovah” (גמר חתימה טובה), “A good final sealing.”
Now for the Yiddish version: The standard wish is for “A gut gebentsht yohr,” “A good and blessed year” (א גוט געבענטשט יאהר). And since tradition tells us that our fate is not really sealed until Hoshanah Rabba, the customary salutation for that day is “A gutten kvittl” (א גוט’ן קוויטל), “A good inscription.”
No matter what we say, the main thing is to wish each other a good, sweet year with all our heart – because that is what G‑d values the most.”
Rosh Hashanah will occur on the following days of the secular calendar: Jewish Year 5776: sunset September 13, 2015 – nightfall September 15, 2015.
“The Bible speaks of Rosh Hashanah as occurring on the first day of the seventh month. The first month of the Jewish calendar is Nissan, occurring in March and April. Why, then, does the Jewish “new year” occur in Tishri, the seventh month? Judaism has several different “new years,” Nissan 1 is the new year for the purpose of counting the reign of kings and months on the calendar, Elul 1 (in August) is the new year for the tithing of animals, Shevat 15 (in February) is the new year for trees (determining when first fruits can be eaten, etc.), and Tishri 1 (Rosh Hashanah) is the new year for years (when we increase the year number. Sabbatical and Jubilee years begin at this time).” (Read more: http://www.jewfaq.org/holiday2.htm)
Leviticus 23:24-25 New King James Version (NKJV)
24 “Speak to the children of Israel, saying: ‘In the seventh month, on the first day of the month, you shall have a sabbath-rest, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, a holy convocation. 25 You shall do no customary work on it; and you shall offer an offering made by fire to the Lord.’”
Biblical events of blowing of the trumpets and the victories of God’s people thereof:
Then seven priests bearing seven trumpets of rams’ horns before the ark of the Lord went on continually and blew with thetrumpets. And the armed men went before them. But the rear guard came after the ark of the Lord, while the priests continued blowing the trumpets.
20 So the people shouted when the priests blew the trumpets. And it happened when the people heard the sound of the trumpet, and the people shouted with a great shout, that the wall fell down flat. Then the people went up into the city, every man straight before him, and they took the city.
Then the three companies blew the trumpets and broke the pitchers—they held the torches in their left hands and the trumpets in their right hands for blowing—and they cried, “The sword of the Lord and of Gideon!”
21 And every man stood in his place all around the camp; and the whole army ran and cried out and fled. 22When the three hundred blew the trumpets, the Lord set every man’s sword against his companion throughout the whole camp; and the army fled to Beth Acacia,[a] toward Zererah, as far as the border of Abel Meholah, by Tabbath.
The watchman heard four times within twelve hours. The message is from Nahum. A sister in Christ who continued to manifest symptoms even after she was healed, has received twice the same verse Nahum 1:9, “affliction will not rise up the second time.” This message was received by two different persons: through a Bible teacher teaching the Holy Spirit lesson received by the watchman her; it was also received by someone for the same sister thousands of miles away, through another teaching on healing. In fact the two messages crossed each other through mobile phone communication at the same time! Awesome!
Later in the morning the watchman posted Bible verses spoken by Jesus Himself on end times and how foundations will be shaken by natural elements; he also found and posted in the same blog some old pictures depicting the scale of such devastations. In the afternoon he watched a movie without knowing the contents while waiting for his laptop computer to be reinstalled by the vendor. The movie was called, “Into the storm”. He received a shock when he watched and saw that it was about the tornado (hurricane) and its powerful devastating power and impact on earth. The screen and sound displayed the formidable forces of the natural elements to the full.
At the end of the day while driving home, he asked the Lord and his spirit received the book, Nahum. He read, especially this verse, “…the Lord hath his way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet.” (Nahum 1:3)
Summary of today’s message: twice good news of 1:9 for an individual who is suffering. Twice bad news of 1:3 for the ‘world’ or system of the world. For those who have not watched the movie, read Nahum and see glimpses of the scale of the invisible natural forces that could not be stopped.
Then I looked, and behold,… The signs of time: 2014
Revelation 14 New King James Version (NKJV)
The Lamb and the 144,000
14 Then I looked, and behold, a[a] Lamb standing on Mount Zion, and with Him one hundred and forty-four thousand, having[b] His Father’s name written on their foreheads. 2 And I heard a voice from heaven, like the voice of many waters, and like the voice of loud thunder. And I heard the sound of harpists playing their harps. 3 They sang as it were a new song before the throne, before the four living creatures, and the elders; and no one could learn that song except the hundred and forty-four thousand who were redeemed from the earth. 4 These are the ones who were not defiled with women, for they are virgins. These are the ones who follow the Lamb wherever He goes. These were redeemed[c] from among men, being firstfruits to God and to the Lamb. 5 And in their mouth was found no deceit,[d] for they are without fault before the throne of God.[e]
The Proclamations of Three Angels
6 Then I saw another angel flying in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach to those who dwell on the earth—to every nation, tribe, tongue, and people— 7 saying with a loud voice, “Fear God and give glory to Him, for the hour of His judgment has come; and worship Him who made heaven and earth, the sea and springs of water.”
8 And another angel followed, saying, “Babylon[f] is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she has made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.”
9 Then a third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, “If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives his mark on his forehead or on his hand, 10 he himself shall also drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out full strength into the cup of His indignation. He shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. 11 And the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever; and they have no rest day or night, who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name.”
12 Here is the patience of the saints; here are those[g] who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.
13 Then I heard a voice from heaven saying to me,[h] “Write: ‘Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.’”
“Yes,” says the Spirit, “that they may rest from their labors, and their works follow them.”
Reaping the Earth’s Harvest
14 Then I looked, and behold, a white cloud, and on the cloud sat One like the Son of Man, having on His head a golden crown, and in His hand a sharp sickle. 15 And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to Him who sat on the cloud, “Thrust in Your sickle and reap, for the time has come for You[i] to reap, for the harvest of the earth is ripe.” 16 So He who sat on the cloud thrust in His sickle on the earth, and the earth was reaped.
Reaping the Grapes of Wrath
17 Then another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven, he also having a sharp sickle.
18 And another angel came out from the altar, who had power over fire, and he cried with a loud cry to him who had the sharp sickle, saying, “Thrust in your sharp sickle and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth, for her grapes are fully ripe.” 19 So the angel thrust his sickle into the earth and gathered the vine of the earth, and threw it into the great winepress of the wrath of God. 20 And the winepress was trampled outside the city, and blood came out of the winepress, up to the horses’ bridles, for one thousand six hundred furlongs.
Then God said,”Let there be light;” and there was light.(Genesis 1:3)
1 John 1:5[ Fellowship with Him and One Another ] This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all.
Matthew 4:16The people who sat in darkness have seen a great light, And upon those who sat in the region and shadow of death Light has dawned.”
Luke 1:79To give light to those who sit in darkness and the shadow of death, To guide our feet into the way of peace.” Luke 2:32A light to bring revelation to the Gentiles, And the glory of Your people Israel.”
John 1:4In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. John 1:9That was the true Light which gives light to every man coming into the world. John 8:12Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.”
John 3:20For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. John 3:21But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.”
John 12:36While you have the light, believe in the light, that you may become sons of light.” These things Jesus spoke, and departed, and was hidden from them. John 12:46I have come as a light into the world, that whoever believes in Me should not abide in darkness.
Romans 13:12The night is far spent, the day is at hand. Therefore let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light. Ephesians 5:8[ Walk in Light ] For you were once darkness, but now you arelight in the Lord. Walk as children of light
2 Corinthians 4:6For it is the God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
Ephesians 5:14Therefore He says: “Awake, you who sleep, Arise from the dead, And Christ will give you light.”
1 Thessalonians 5:5You are all sons of light and sons of the day. We are not of the night nor of darkness.
1 Peter 2:9But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;
We do not have all the time. Jesus knew this well. He did everything the Father told Him to do within the very short time span in history. Yet today we live in the illusion that we have all the time in eternity…Only those who do the will of God will enter heaven. Do not be fooled. .the watchman noted.
There is a proper time for everything: time for God’s visitation; time to manage God’s household faithfully; time for testing; time to give account (in fruits); time to be harvested by God and invited by the Master for heavenly banquet
Luke 19:44and tear you down to the ground, you and your children within you. And they will not leave one stone upon another in you, because you did not know the timeof your visitation.”
Luke 12:42And the Lord said, “Who then is the faithful and wise manager, whom his master will set over his household, to give them their portion of food at the proper time?
Luke 8:13And the ones on the rock are those who, when they hear the word, receive it with joy. But these have no root; they believe for a while, and in timeof testing fall away.
Luke 20:10When the time came, he sent a servant to the tenants, so that they would give him some of the fruit of the vineyard. But the tenants beat him and sent him away empty-handed.
Matthew 25:19Now after a long time the master of those servants came and settled accounts with them.
Matthew 13:30Let both grow together until the harvest, and at harvesttime I will tell the reapers, Gather the weeds first and bind them in bundles to be burned, but gather the wheat into my barn.’”
Luke 14:17And at the timefor the banquet he sent his servant to say to those who had been invited, ‘Come, for everything is now ready.’
Christians are required to discern spiritual signs accurately; interpret time
Luke 12:54[ Interpreting the Time ] He also said to the crowds, “When you see a cloud rising in the west, you say at once, ‘A shower is coming.’ And so it happens.
Luke 12:56You hypocrites! You know how to interpret the appearance of earth and sky, but why do you not know how to interpret the presenttime?
Luke 21:8And he said, “See that you are not led astray. For many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am he!’ and, ‘The timeis at hand!’ Do not go after them.
Luke 21:24They will fall by the edge of the sword and be led captive among all nations, and Jerusalem will be trampled underfoot by the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.
Mark 13:33Be on guard, keep awake. For you do not know when the time will come.
What Christians should do with our time? Stay awake and pray
Luke 21:36But stay awake at alltimes, praying that you may have strength to escape all these things that are going to take place, and to stand before the Son of Man.”
Jesus knows before time what must happen and what He must do
Mark 1:15and saying, “The timeis fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel.”
Matthew 4:17From that time Jesus began to preach, saying, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.”
John 7:6Jesus said to them, “Mytime has not yet come, but your time is always here.
Matthew 16:21[ Jesus Foretells His Death and Resurrection ] From that time Jesus began to show his disciples that he must go to Jerusalem and suffer many things from the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and on the third day be raised.
Matthew 26:18He said, “Go into the city to a certain man and say to him, ‘The Teacher says, Mytime is at hand. I will keep the Passover at your house with my disciples.’”
Mark 14:41And he came the third time and said to them, “Are you still sleeping and taking your rest? It is enough; the hour has come. The Son of Man is betrayed into the hands of sinners.
Jesus knows before time exactly what His disciples will go through
John 13:38Jesus answered, “Will you lay down your life for me? Truly, truly, I say to you, the rooster will not crow till you have denied me three times.
Luke 22:61And the Lord turned and looked at Peter. And Peter remembered the saying of the Lord, how he had said to him, “Before the rooster crows today, you will deny me three times.”
John 21:16He said to him a second time, “Simon, son of John, do you love me?” He said to him, “Yes, Lord; you know that I love you.” He said to him, “Tend my sheep.”
John 21:17He said to him the third time, “Simon, son of John, do you love me?” Peter was grieved because he said to him the third time, “Do you love me?” and he said to him, “Lord, you know everything; you know that I love you.” Jesus said to him, “Feed my sheep.
Even the devil knows certain limits about time
Luke 4:5And the devil took him up and showed him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time,
Luke 4:13And when the devil had ended every temptation, he departed from him until an opportunetime.
Matthew 8:29And behold, they cried out, “What have you to do with us, O Son of God? Have you come here to torment us before thetime?”
The watchman sang one song in his spirit throughout the night. When he woke he realized it is Psalm 103. The verses he kept repeating are: verses 1-5. When he read the whole psalm he received it as a “flight to freedom” song. So he sings.
What a wonderful yearend this has become!
A Psalm of David.
1 Bless the LORD, O my soul;
And all that is within me, bless His holy name! 2 Bless the LORD, O my soul,
And forget not all His benefits: 3 Who forgives all your iniquities,
Who heals all your diseases, 4 Who redeems your life from destruction,
Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies, 5 Who satisfies your mouth with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.
6 The LORD executes righteousness
And justice for all who are oppressed. 7 He made known His ways to Moses,
His acts to the children of Israel. 8 The LORD is merciful and gracious,
Slow to anger, and abounding in mercy. 9 He will not always strive with us,
Nor will He keep His anger forever. 10 He has not dealt with us according to our sins,
Nor punished us according to our iniquities.
11 For as the heavens are high above the earth, So great is His mercy toward those who fear Him; 12 As far as the east is from the west, So far has He removed our transgressions from us. 13 As a father pities his children, So the LORD pities those who fear Him. 14 For He knows our frame;
He remembers that we are dust.
15As for man, his days are like grass;
As a flower of the field, so he flourishes. 16 For the wind passes over it, and it is gone,
And its place remembers it no more.[a] 17 But the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting
On those who fear Him,
And His righteousness to children’s children, 18 To such as keep His covenant,
And to those who remember His commandments to do them.
19 The LORD has established His throne in heaven,
And His kingdom rules over all.
