The watchman’s encounter with God’s reality in the physical realm

On 30th August 2013, while I was listening to the Spirit vs the flesh -the power of the Gospel, I encountered the spectacular shower of golden rays in my kitchen from the spiritual realm which manifested in the physical realm. It was not a vision. Because I used my mobile phone and video recorded the phenomena in visual and sound.

After that I let my house group and my family members watch it and confirmed.

Today I came across the teaching below: “Basics of Righteousness 8 of 8: Spirit vs. Flesh” on YouTube, which is the same as what I have recorded in my CD in 2013 and was listening to when the supernatural encounter happened –Spirit vs the flesh -the power of the Gospel. I would like to share with you this truth which set me and many others on the right track.

If you ask me to use one phrase to describe the most important thing in my life, I will say this without hesitation, “Our God is real and the Bible is real!”

2019 New year’s eve: prayer, evangelists and watchman

Psalm 68:4

Two unexpected ministry friends joined my house-mate for the watch night on new year eve and spent a busy day visiting and ministering to a needy family. By the time the three of them returned they were practically quite weary but determined to spend the last hour of 2018 praying. I joined them and prayed together during which each person shared their most memorable encounter with God/the Word of God in 2018. I shared my whole recent healed testimony.

After that we each took turn to pray. I was not sure of what they meant so I prayed an intercessory prayer for my country which took my prayer partners by surprise. My house mate nudged me a few times and urged me to stop. So I ended the prayer in a hurry. As it was near midnight I suggested we all pray in tongue in the last 15 minutes. But it ended up we had not more than ten minutes to pray. I soon discovered I was praying/singing in tongue sort of solo as the others were like dozing off. They assured me they were praying softly in tongue. By midnight I was alone.

What was I to do? I was the lone watchman in the group. They are evangelists who go to the frontline and really work physically with people in need. I am just a typical spiritual watchman who is always in the background in the unseen realm. We are so different and yet we are all working in the Kingdom of God. We practice what we are called to do with the gifts the Lord has given each of us specifically. My gifts are entirely different from theirs.

When we were about to start the prayer meeting I received a verse in my spirit. At the close of the meeting I received another verse.

Beginning verse: Acts 11:12 Then the Spirit told me to go with them, doubting nothing. Moreover these six brethren accompanied me, and we entered the man’s house. (This was Peter’s testimony of how the Holy Spirit guided him to do evangelism.) This verse was meant for the three evangelists as they have been doing just that!

Ending verse: Psalm 68:11 Evangelical Heritage Version (EHV) The Lord Defeats the Kings of the Land “11 The Lord provided the message.
The women who proclaimed it were a great army”. The three evangelists are all women! The verse was meant for them!

The Lord has demonstrated how His Kingdom’s frontline ministry works, always using a team of individuals of different yet related gifts, such as, teaching, healing and helping.

Where do I fit in then? The watchman asks. Are watchmen obsolete? This is going to be what I shall focus on in the new year 2019. Finding a spiritual place and purpose in the Kingdom of God for watchman.

Reading Psalm 68 which I have posted on January 1 2019, I believe that this is what I have been called to do as a watchman, listening carefully in the spirit, praying in the spirit, reading God’s words as the Holy Spirit leads me, proclaiming those words which He wants a target audience to know and pay attention to. The words will exalt God and yet comfort and build His people up.

Here are some of the revealed verses from Psalm 68 about God that He wants you to see today as you are led to read this post. I pray you are stirred up in the spirit to praise and sing to the Lord a new song. I believe I am one of the troop who sing in the Spirit and not a solo singer.

Evangelical Heritage Version (EHV)

Blessing on God’s People

But the righteous rejoice and celebrate in the presence of God.
They will be happy and joyful.
Sing to God. Make music to his name.
Lift up a song to him who rides through the deserts.
His name is the Lord.[b Celebrate before him.
In his holy dwelling, God is a father for the fatherless
and a judge who defends widows.
God causes the lonely to dwell together as a household.
He leads out the prisoners with music,
but the rebellious dwell in a scorched land.

Just thinking aloud

thought1My thinking has a lot to do with where I go in life. God is a lot more concerned with where I am going than where I came from. God is in the spiritual realm. He has the best thoughts for me. If I do not begin to think there, I cannot go there in the natural. But if I begin to think in a different realm, that is, the spiritual, my thoughts will help me go there and bring back to the natural every spiritual blessing and prove the perfect will of God in my natural life.

a watchman’s confession: updates on blogs

Ezekiel 3-27
Ezekiel 3:27

I have updated the following two blogs. Please read again as over time I have learned more accurately the grace and truth of Jesus. I have deleted many blogs, edited what I wrote previously, subtracted and added according to the revelations of the words I have since received. My focus has been totally transformed through the renewal of my mind by the words of God over the last ten years, especially after my departure from the mixture-teachings by many still stuck in OT-NT (work-faith) confusion and self-contradictory doctrine. I have tried to remove all previous wrong messages/blogs which were formed during the vulnerable period of  “mixture”influences during which I first encountered the supernatural realm. Please do not hesitate to write your comments and feedback.

Positive Prayer for healing

1 John 4:2
Bible verses: 1 John 4:2

Healing is spiritual. What you confess is important as it impacts the spiritual realm.

“First John 4:2 says, “Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God.” When I talk about the Lord Jesus Christ, I’m not talking about some idea; I’m talking about the Son of God!

Jesus Christ of Nazareth came in the flesh and walked the shores of Galilee. When I talk about God, I’m not talking about my mind or your mind or someone else’s mind! I’m talking about a divine Personality – the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.”

Confession: “Jesus Christ came in the flesh. He is the Son of God. And He died for me to redeem me from sin, sickness, and disease. I am free because Jesus came to this earth and died on the Cross for me. Thank You, Jesus!”

God's Way of Healing

andrew-wommack-teachesI have decided to share this letter as I have subscribed and partnered with Charis Bible College World Outreach. By faith I decided sowing the seed of a mere $30 a month. What is a $30 to you? To a person not living in a developed world it could mean a lot. By faith I am also a registered first year correspondence student with the Charis Bible College through one of their overseas branches. I agreed with Andrew that “Decisions Determine Destiny”. I was born again in 1983 and for twenty years I tried to read the Bible and live the Bible way. I invested a fortune in buying many costly reference and commentary books from many theologians before I heard of Andrew’s free teaching. Despite the good intention and my zeal to serve God and live a better life (more abundant life) I increasingly realized that my discipleship ministry had no…

11th week 1st day: a reality check

spiritual realityToday we are confronted with a reality check. The reading is from Mark 16 New King James Version (NKJV).

Jesus is risen and has shown Himself to His disciples:  Some women saw the empty tomb and an angel who told them Jesus was risen and they were afraid, Mary Magdalene and two other disciples saw the risen Lord Jesus Himself and these eye-witnesses went and told the the rest of the disciples but the rest did not believe the eye-witnesses until Jesus Himself appeared to them later and told them off of their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they did not believe those who had seen Him after He had risen. Why is it so hard to believe that Jesus has risen from the dead? These people had been following and living with Jesus prior the crucifixion. They appeared to have believed in Him being the Messiah. When He died their hope for the re-establishment of the physical kingdom of Israel was dashed.  Jesus called their condition “hardness of heart”. When the heart is hard it is like the hard ground in the sower of seeds (the words of God) parable told by Jesus. The seed could not germinate or grow to bear fruits. Whatever Jesus had said to them had fallen on hard ground. They could have reaped a hundred-fold as Jesus had promised. But they failed. They did not believe in a spiritual God.

Looking back in history we marvel at the hard heart. Had we lived then would we not have believed? We would ask. The question is for each individual believer to answer. Again, the crux of the matter is do we believe in the reality of a spiritual God?

Mark Chapter 16
Now when the Sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James, and Salome bought spices, that they might come and anoint Him. 2 Very early in the morning, on the first day of the week, they came to the tomb when the sun had risen. 3 And they said among themselves, “Who will roll away the stone from the door of the tomb for us?” 4 But when they looked up, they saw that the stone had been rolled away—for it was very large. 5 And entering the tomb, they saw a young man clothed in a long white robe sitting on the right side; and they were alarmed.

6 But he said to them, “Do not be alarmed. You seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He is risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid Him. 7 But go, tell His disciples—and Peter—that He is going before you into Galilee; there you will see Him, as He said to you.” 8 So they went out quickly and fled from the tomb, for they trembled and were amazed. And they said nothing to anyone, for they were afraid.

9 Now when He rose early on the first day of the week, He appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom He had cast seven demons. 10 She went and told those who had been with Him, as they mourned and wept. 11 And when they heard that He was alive and had been seen by her, they did not believe.

12 After that, He appeared in another form to two of them as they walked and went into the country. 13 And they went and told it to the rest, but they did not believe them either.
14 Later He appeared to the eleven as they sat at the table; and He rebuked their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they did not believe those who had seen Him after He had risen.

Do not despise the day of small things -Zechariah 4:10

When I kneel before God, in His holy presence, I know in my spirit He talks to me daily. In truth and in spirit I know. This morning I discovered to my horror that for several days I had been drinking a paper carton of ‘fresh’ milk that had gone bad even when I purchased it from a vendor who normally does not sell fresh milk. I noted the texture of the milk that floated on top of my coffee which did not look right. My dessert did not taste right when I topped it with this milk. The food looked and tasted strange. Yet I continued taking it daily. It did not give me second thought. I trusted the writing on the carton that said, “Valid until March 16”. In fact the unrealistic long expiry date should have alerted me. The ‘unqualified’ vendor from whom I made the purchase should have made me wonder before my purchase. But I was a sticker to label. The label clearly says, OK. The carton was in fact bulging and I chose to ignore its shape. Something that made it turn foul had entered it. The Lord asked me to look at all the signs which clearly pointed to imperfection and contamination. Yet I chose to continue ignoring the signs. Then the Lord even asked me to smell the milk. I smelled it and it smelled funny. Not right. But I insisted on putting it back into my refrigerator. This morning as I took the milk out and the Lord said, “taste it as it is and not mix it with other stuff.” I poured a bit into a cup and tasted it. It was yucky. It smelled disgusting too. Then it dawned on me that I had been a real stubborn fool, taking ‘poison’ for days and refusing to hear the Lord’s kind and wise advice. Yes, in a way, I actually acted out what the Israelites did when they refused to listen to God’s kind and timely advice and obey His perfect and good commands through His Holy Spirit. God is merciful and keeps granting my daily generic prayer and prayer for each meal too for supernatural protection against poison or other unclean effects , because I have not suffered any bad stomach at all having been consuming such foul stuff daily!

Today’s message from Leviticus 22-23 to me speaks exactly of this subject of contamination. God speaks of His holy and purity standard for sacrifices. He again makes a clear and specific distinction between the clean and the unclean in His eyes. He speaks of the unacceptability of contamination (defects).

There is a spiritual context in this teaching: Why does God want perfection and purity? Here is His answer: Leviticus 22:31-33 (All Scriptures are quoted from the New Living Translation Holy Bible unless otherwise noted)

“You must faithfully keep all my commands by putting them into practice, for I am the Lord. Do not bring shame on my holy name, for I will display my holiness among the people of Israel. I am the Lord who makes you holy. It was I who rescued you from the land of Egypt, that I might be your God. I am the lord.”

Another message that speaks to me as I kneel there interceding for my family and loved ones, “This is a permanent law for you, and it must be observed from generation to generation wherever you live.” (Leviticus 23:31) “This will remind each new generation of Israelites that I made their ancestors live in shelters when I rescued them from the land of Egypt. I am the Lord your God.” (Leviticus 23:43) God’s laws are for perpetuity. (One definition of the word ‘perpetuity: a bond or other security with no fixed maturity.) The purpose is for safeguard for the people of God from generation to generation, as long as the spiritual lineage of each generation continues in its purity as the chosen special holy nation of God. The people of the Kingdom of God that Jesus has bought with His own pure and unblemished blood . As read in Hebrews the revelations God gave to Moses are previews of the real good things that Jesus has brought after Moses. The holy and purity principles and goodness of those holy things and a holy lifestyle have never changed. Because God is the God for Moses and also the God for all Christians past, present and forever.

Why have I not listened to God in the matter of the spoiled milk? I ask myself. I ask the Lord. Here is the answer I received:

“Because you think I am the God only for big things. Am I not the God for small sparrows? Do I not concern for small details? My ‘PATTERN’ shows every detail.”

Zechariah 4:10 New King James Version (NKJV)

10 For who has despised the day of small things?
For these seven rejoice to see
The plumb line in the hand of Zerubbabel.
They are the eyes of the Lord,
Which scan to and fro throughout the whole earth.”

How does a Christian hear God’s voice? (a testimony)

bible_study_candlelightHow does a Christian hear God’s voice?
It is absolutely essential for a born again Christian to know God and hear Him and the only way is through the Holy Spirit. Jesus has said that the Holy Spirit would tell us the future. What does He mean?
Here is a summary of the spiritual journey of a believer:
1. I was introduced to a worship place which emphasized on worshiping God in the spirit.
2. The grace of God gave me the strength and determination to be humble and hang on despite my dislike and prejudices and critical views of the place.
3. I continued to practice what I learned there at home.
4. I read the Bible to confirm what I learned and practiced.
5. The steps I have practiced over the years: seek God diligently, listen to the voice/words in my spirit, and ask to see visions, record down what I receive (in words, pictures, diagrams, or any other journal ways.)
6. Last week a friend sent me a link to a book. The friend wrote this remark to me: “Over the years you have shared with us what you have received concerning how you have heard God’s voice, and you tried to teach us the whole process but I did not understand them until I read this present book which has confirmed what you have received even then.”
Here is the link to the book the friend has sent. I pray you may find it simple to apply. For those who are already walking in the Spirit and hearing God in your own way, my prayer is, “Press on.”
