When the watchman started this journey in the Holy Spirit at the beginning of this year he had no agenda, no map, no compass, no destination. He just walked on by faith, being led by the Holy Spirit. He could sense the urgency of the time. He watched and read signs. Indeed he was led to learn to observe signposts along the way.
The class was started by faith and so far they have gone through two semesters (on Faith and Word) and now the third semester (on Prayer) is closing soon. In each semester he was led to facilitate prophetic act (faith in action) which had significant spiritual meaning and breakthrough for individuals and team.
The watchman knew for sometime that he was yet to carry out the One Prophetic Act which would lead to a most decisive breakthrough for the church as a team and for individual participants. But he did not know what it would be or when the TODAY time would be until last week. Indeed, the TODAY time (‘open heaven’) needs to be heeded without hesitation. Two Sundays ago (on 28th November), the watchman was alerted in his spirit to carry out a prophetic act on the following Sunday. But he had no idea what it would be. He obeyed by faith. He spent the bulk of last week praying and seeking the Lord.
On 29th November, he saw in the spirit people sitting under the Jesus banners. On 30th November he began to receive revelation of messages (in verses which relevance he did not consider then). On 2nd December he received the actual Bible chapters (Joshua 3-4 with the Prophetic Act “River Jordan Crossing” theme) to read. On 3rd December he was led to carry out the main portion of the prophetic act in his prayer attic (such as crawling under a narrow table under the covering of a Jesus banner). On 4th December he went out to look for some minor materials needed. On 5th December (the day the Major Prophetic Act was to take place) he was still asking the Lord to reveal more details! As he paced up and down the site, he received suggestions of two very important pieces of materials (a red wedding carpet to line the river bed signifying the blood of Jesus, and a Jesus King of kings banner as covering for the ark-mercy seat/table under which the participants would crawl one by one to get through the middle riverbed) from two of the participants (who had scanty ideas of what he intended to do). The other crucial materials (tabernacle ropes and show-bread table) and activities (tying burdens on legs prior crossing and casting off burdens into the river upon reaching the other side) were fully revealed to him about an hour before the Act took place!
The Act that evening turned out to be the most important prophetic event in the year, the watchman perceived. He was overwhelmed the next morning when he looked through his diary and discovered that the Lord has revealed on 30th November a very important message which he did not comprehend then.
The message is from Isaiah 66:12-14 (NLT) “12 This is what the Lord says:
“I will give Jerusalem a river of peace and prosperity.
The wealth of the nations will flow to her.
Her children will be nursed at her breasts,
carried in her arms, and held on her lap.
13 I will comfort you there in Jerusalem as a mother comforts her child.” 14 When you see these things, your heart will rejoice.
You will flourish like the grass! Everyone will see the Lord’s hand of blessing on his servants—and his anger against his enemies.”
A river of peace was the vision the watchman saw in his spirit before the morning worship started on 5th December. He saw the light bluish white light and perceived it was a river of peace and the Prince of Peace was present! Later the preacher shared a verse another member received from the Lord that morning from Haggai 2:9 “The future glory of this Temple will be greater than its past glory, says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies. And in this place I will bring peace. I, the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, have spoken!”
In the evening after the Prophetic Act was completed he found out that just before the Prophetic Act began, an intercessor (for his church) from another town sent a message on his mobile phone, saying that she just got to read the book “FireBride” she took from his house on the previous day and on page 2, the verses 2:7-9 from Haggai were quoted (which confirmed his vision and also the verse received by the church member in the morning.) The full message is as follows: “7 I will shake all the nations, and the treasures of all the nations will be brought to this Temple. I will fill this place with glory, says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies. 8 The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies. 9 The future glory of this Temple will be greater than its past glory, says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies. And in this place I will bring peace. I, the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, have spoken!””
On his way to the Act that evening he was told in the spirit that it would be a journey in the Holy Spirit. After the event, reading the Scripture and receiving further Scripture as confirmation and revelation (in depth and breadth) the watchman finally had the full picture of the prophetic significance and its spiritual outcome. He also knew why certain events and physical items were included and others were omitted. The division (by lots) of the company, their marching order, the choice of ‘priests’ personnel to carry the symbolic ark, tabernacle (ropes), and tabernacle furnishing (‘shewbread’ table) were all Spirit-led. Among the participants who turned up were young nursing mother with infants and toddlers (prophetically fulfilling Isaiah 66:12-14!)
The prophetic inclusion of “gold” and “silver” (as in Haggai 2:8) was suggested on that Sunday after the morning worship on his way home by the intercessor from another town who was also on her way home. She casually asked, “So you are going to ask them to carry gold and silver, aren’t you?”
He now knows his main mission has been completed. Things would not be the same again in this church. So this morning after receiving the prophecy for this church’s immediate challenges ahead, he asked the Lord for a successor and the name came instantly. The Lord never fails to reply and gives hope!
No wonder he has been singing “Peace like a river (it is well with my soul)” the whole of Saturday and Sunday, followed by the chorus of “To God be the Glory” since then until this moment!!
“Praise the Lord, praise the Lord,
Let the earth hear His voice!
Praise the Lord, praise the Lord,
Let the people rejoice!
O come to the Father, through Jesus the Son,
And give Him the glory, great things He has done.”
O watchman, heed the TODAY time!
