Preparing for Fasting

This blog is relevant as some of the watchman’s brethren are preparing for the three days’ Esther Fast, no food and no water. The Yom Kippur fast is the same, but only for one day. It is useful to learn more and prepare well, in body, soul and spirit.

AAA watchman

 The watchman learned from last year’s experience that the most difficult part is not drinking water. He can stand the not eating part but needs to really fortify against dehydration. He is one of those who do not take much plain water. So the tips here are very relevant to him.

How to prepare for this year’s special fasting? (Or any kind of fasting?)

Tips: Don’t make it any more difficult than it has to be; fasting is easier if you prepare your body in advance; there are things you can do to ease your fast after it has started. Above all, set goals before you start. Why do you want to fast? What motivates you to do so?

Today’s Proverbs: Who has anguish? Who has sorrow?

Proverbs 23

23 While dining with a ruler,
pay attention to what is put before you.
² If you are a big eater,
put a knife to your throat;
³ don’t desire all the delicacies,
for he might be trying to trick you.

⁴ Don’t wear yourself out trying to get rich.
Be wise enough to know when to quit.
⁵ In the blink of an eye wealth disappears,
for it will sprout wings
and fly away like an eagle.

⁶ Don’t eat with people who are stingy;
don’t desire their delicacies.
⁷ They are always thinking about how much it costs.^[a]
“Eat and drink,” they say, but they don’t mean it.
⁸ You will throw up what little you’ve eaten,
and your compliments will be wasted.

⁹ Don’t waste your breath on fools,

how it sparkles in the cup, how smoothly it goes down.
³² For in the end it bites like a poisonous snake;
    it stings like a viper.

clinging to a swaying mast.

End Times Investment: the richest man advises further on wealth

1. Ecclesiastes 2:26 God gives wisdom, knowledge, and joy to those who please him. But if a sinner becomes wealthy, God takes the wealth away and gives it to those who please him. This, too, is meaningless—like chasing the wind.

End Times Investment: Advice from the richest man

The watchman has to deal with a number of important sales of assets and investment decisions lately. He asked the Holy Spirit for guidance. So this morning at 12.01am he was woken and led to read the following passage and again the whole book of Ecclesiastes with freshness. amazing. The richest man ever gave his personal advice in reply to his humble request.

The Uncertainties of Life

¹ Send your grain across the seas,
and in time, profits will flow back to you.^[a]
2 But divide your investments among many places,^[b]
for you do not know what risks might lie ahead.

³ When clouds are heavy, the rains come down.
Whether a tree falls north or south, it stays where it falls.

⁴ Farmers who wait for perfect weather never plant.
If they watch every cloud, they never harvest.

⁵ Just as you cannot understand the path of the wind or the mystery of a tiny baby growing in its mother’s womb,^[c] so you cannot understand the activity of God, who does all things.

⁶ Plant your seed in the morning and keep busy all afternoon, for you don’t know if profit will come from one activity or another—or maybe both.

The watchman’s update on 11-4-2012: The time has indeed come to pass. it is still going on. the Black Horse is out! the Spirit of the Lord spoke to the watchman on 10-19-2012. He was first alerted to call for an Esther Fast (absolute fast with no food and no water for three days) on 3-19-2012 based on Joel 2. Then he was alerted on 10-19-2012 that the black horse was out and the economic and financial world would be hit. And then it hit.

²A day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness, as the morning spread upon the mountains: a great people and a strong; there hath not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after it, even to the years of many generations.

³A fire devoureth before them; and behind them a flame burneth: the land is as the garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness; yea, and nothing shall escape them.

⁴The appearance of them is as the appearance of horses; and as horsemen, so shall they run.

 ⁵Like the noise of chariots on the tops of mountains shall they leap, like the noise of a flame of fire that devoureth the stubble, as a strong people set in battle array.

¹⁵Blow the trumpet in Zion, sanctify a fast, call a solemn assembly:

(This is the watchman’s trumpet call now. Those who have ears listen and act.)

 ¹⁶Gather the people, sanctify the congregation, assemble the elders, gather the children, and those that suck the breasts: let the bridegroom go forth of his chamber, and the bride out of her closet.

¹⁷Let the priests, the ministers of the LORD, weep between the porch and the altar, and let them say, Spare thy people, O LORD, and give not thine heritage to reproach, that the heathen should rule over them: wherefore should they say among the people, Where is their God?

(Watchmen and intercessors, especially those who stand in the capacity of Levi: Call the fast now and pray. Meet together for the three days’ Esther Fast on 2012 29th March 6pm to 1st April 6pm. Assemble and rent your hearts before the Lord for your respective nations/stations on earth.)

(Watchman’s revised note on 11-4-2012: Church: call your Esther Fast and rent your hearts before the Lord TODAY! Do not wait. The call is still on and the ram horn sound is loud and clear. When this call to fast was first sounded on 3-19-2012, who would have thought it was necessary? Yet, within eight months, the Hurricane hit with such monstrous force and devastating impact and the hit was on the financials of the nation. The Black Horse is out, the Lord said to the watchman and woke him on 10-19-2012 morning, complete with the verse from Revelation 6:6 “⁶ And I heard a voice from among the four living beings say, “A loaf of wheat bread or three loaves of barley will cost a day’s pay.^[a] And don’t waste^[b] the olive oil and wine.”

¹⁸Then will the LORD be jealous for his land, and pity his people.

¹⁹Yea, the LORD will answer and say unto his people, Behold, I will send you corn, and wine, and oil, and ye shall be satisfied therewith: and I will no more make you a reproach among the heathen:

(Focus on the mercy and loving-kindness of the Lord God Almighty.)

²⁰But I will remove far off from you the northern army, and will drive him into a land barren and desolate, with his face toward the east sea, and his hinder part toward the utmost sea, and his stink shall come up, and his ill savour shall come up, because he hath done great things.

(The battle is in the spiritual realm. See ‘the thing’ in the Hurricane Picture! The Lord will remove your territorial spiritual enemy.)

²¹Fear not, O land; be glad and rejoice: for the LORD will do great things.

(Your land will be set free!)

²²Be not afraid, ye beasts of the field: for the pastures of the wilderness do spring, for the tree beareth her fruit, the fig tree and the vine do yield their strength.

²³Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in the LORD your God: for he hath given you the former rain moderately, and he will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month.
